In theface of the democratic crisis, many solutions have emerged to re-engage citizens in democratic processes. Digital tools for citizen participation are part of these solutions, and can enable participatory democracy to rise to the challenge. Often considered a risk for democracy, generative AI can also be a source of opportunities in this field.
