Satellites: our compass for renaturation and agro-ecological transition

To achieve carbon neutrality, we need to double our carbon sinks. The solution lies in renaturation and agroecology, which together have the potential to absorb 30 million tCO2 per year. To measure and improve this impact, Netcarbon relies on European Space Agency satellites.

As the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) reports insist: to combat climate change, we need to drastically reduce our CO2 emissions and significantly increase carbon capture. In France, this mission takes on a crucial dimension: achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 means dividing our emissions by six, while doubling our carbon sinks. Farmland is an invaluable ally in this quest. Practices such as intermediate cover or agroforestry not only provide new carbon sinks, but also improve...
