Back to HELLO PALAISEAU

On Thursday evening, May 16, Télécom Paris and its alumni association organized a tour of the school's "new" premises in Palaiseau for graduates. Initially scheduled for 2020, then postponed to 2021 due to the pandemic, this visit, named "Hello Palaiseau", finally took place.

A successful event!

Over 160 alumni and students, from the classes of 1958 to 2026, turned out in force! Hats off to the class of 2001, and a special thank you to Thomas Robert, who managed to bring together 25 of his classmates!

Evening program

The evening began with a guided tour of the new premises, including the Jean-Luc Vaillant microwave laboratory, with explanations from Anne Claire Le Page, a teacher-researcher at the École. Alumni then attended speeches by Nicolas Glady, Director of the École, and Hélène Delahousse-Haverbeke, President of Télécom Paris alumni. A lecture on ethical AI, given by Thomas Le Goff, PhD and professor of digital law at the École, also made a lasting impression. BDE presidents Maël Le Guillouzic and Cléa Leandri emphasized the importance of intergenerational links between alumni and students.

Exchange: Speed Meeting

A particularly popular feature of the evening was the "speed meeting" session between alumni and students. This rapid exchange format enabled students to benefit from their elders' sound advice on their career choices, an invaluable asset for their professional future.

The event concluded with a convivial cocktail party and, for the night owls, a big party!

An evolving campus

The event was an opportunity to witness the growing importance of the Paris-Saclay Campus and the Institut Polytechnique de Paris. With the imminent arrival of metro line 18, whose station has already been built directly opposite the École, the campus promises to transform even further over the next two to three years.

Committed to the future

We need your support if we are to continue organizing events of this kind and energize our network.

Membership fees enable us to finance ambitious projects and strengthen ties between generations of graduates and students!

Together, we can make every meeting a memorable one and build a bright future for our community.
