Workshop: mastering the shines in Puerto Rican salsa in Paris at the Carreau du Temple on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 5 p.m.

We're continuing our series of advanced training courses and invite you to join us for this latest installment devoted to shines :+)

Who is this workshop for?

All salsa enthusiasts who want to improve their ease and fluidity, and perfect their dance solos.

Our program

In salsa, shines are combinations of footwork that enrich couple dancing with a short period of solo dancing by both men and women. It's the ideal moment to show off your creativity and improvise, which isn't always easy.

You'll work on a choreography of shines with a differentiation in style for men and women, while working on musicality and rhythm. Emphasis will also be placed on movement coordination, posture and support.

"Shine" means to shine.

So if you want to shine on the dance floor, you know what you have to do!

Please note: for beginners, mastery of the basic step is essential. If you're a complete beginner, first come and take a free trial class on Mondays (info on our website).

Schedule: 5 pm to 6:30 pm

Level: intermediate and advanced. Beginners who have already mastered the basic step on the Clave may also attend.

Location: Le Carreau du Temple (Studio de danse Flore) 2 Rue Perrée, 75003 Paris

Price: 15€ per person for 1h30 workshop

Practical information: Bring a pair of shoes for indoor use only, to avoid damaging the dance floor.
