Cybersecurity Monday: Quantum computers and the future of security

Renaud Lifchitz takes the floor

Invited by CyberEdu, as part of its Cybersecurity Mondays at school program, Renaud Lifchitz will give a no-technical-obligation introduction to the subject for the general public:


  • the state of the art of quantum computers
  • the principles of quantum computation ;
  • quantum inversion of a function ;
  • quantum chips and simulators available to the general public;
  • advances and records in quantum technologies in recent years and in the years to come;
  • threats to existing security systems;
  • the security benefits of quantum technologies;
  • post-quantum cryptography.


Renaud Lifchitz, from digital.security, is a renowned French IT security expert with extensive experience as an auditor and trainer, mainly in the banking and telecoms sectors. He is particularly interested in secure development, wireless communication protocols and cryptography. He has been a speaker at numerous international conferences: CCC 2010, Hackito Ergo Sum 2010 & 2012, DeepSec 2012, Shakacon 2012, 8dot8 2013 and has trained over 1,800 people. His most significant security work covers: contactless banking cards, GSM geolocation, blockchain, RSA signatures, ZigBee, Sigfox, LoRaWAN, Vigik and quantum computing.
