The "ENERGY" Professional Group offers you the following conference organized by the A&M "Energy" Professional Group, whose speaker for the evening: Camille Bonenfant-Jeanneney, Managing Director of ENGIE Renewable Gases Europe

As a sustainable energy with great potential, renewable gases are set to play a major role in decarbonizing energy systems. Beyond the challenge of meeting climate objectives, their storable and controllable nature enables them to offer the power and flexibility required to get through peak consumption periods.They are also a way of recycling agricultural waste in a local circular economy approach that limits waste and creates jobs and additional income for farmers.

Focusing on the key renewable gas businesses and capitalizing on the experience of ENGIE BiOZ and Biogas +, the new ENGIE operating entity currently being created will meet the performance and growth challenges of providing ENGIE customers with an integrated green gas offering that is Made in Europe, competitive, responsible and increasingly available.ation will meet the challenges of performance and growth to provide ENGIE's customers with an integrated green gas offer that is Made in Europe, competitive, responsible and increasingly available.

The speaker will present ENGIE's strategy and roadmap in line with its new industrial ambition to produce around 10 TWh per year of renewable methane by 2030.

Background: Camille BONENFANT-JEANNENEY, an engineer with a degree in political science, was previously Managing Director of ENGIE subsidiary Storengy, one of the world leaders in underground natural gas storage. Since March 1, 2023, she has been Director of the Renewable Gas Europe project, which aims to make ENGIE a leading player in the production of at least 10 TWh of renewable methane by 2030.

Camille BONENFANT-JEANNENEY is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique (X2000), Ecole Nationale des Ponts Chaussées and Sciences-Po Paris. She began her career in European affairs, as a diplomat at France's Permanent Representation to the European Union.European Union (2006-2012), focusing on industrial and environmental issues, and as advisor to the cabinet of the Minister Delegate for European Affairs (2012-2013). In 2013, she joined RATP as head of the Grand Paris mission, then Chief of Staff to the Chairman and CEO (2014-2015). In 2015, she joined the ENGIE Group, initially as Director of NewCorp within the General Secretariat, before taking over the management of Compagnie Parisienne de Chauffage Urbain (CPCU) in 2018, followed by the management of Storengy in 2021.
