Patrick Olivier, new Director of Télécom Paris
Patrick Olivier was appointed Director of Télécom Paris by an order dated February 14, 2025, issued by the Minister of the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty. He officially took office on March 1, 2025 for a five-year term.
"Our country must seize technological opportunities to serve eco-energy transitions, from the electrification of uses to the integration of AI in all areas of industry and everyday life. These are the challenges that the younger generation wants us to take up.
Télécom Paris is at the heart of this revolution, which will be as much technical as societal, to train the talents our economy will need and conduct cutting-edge research.
As head of this prestigious school, I'll also be bringing this ambition to the international stage, drawing on the strength of the ITM and Institut Polytechnique de Paris teams.
