In a context of energy transition, it is imperative to rethink the way we produce, distribute and consume energy, particularly electricity. In particular, the management of the electricity transmission network represents a major challenge at a time of major changes in production resources and demand.
Drawing on the experience of RTE, in charge of managing Europe's largest electricity transmission network, this conference will look at the solutions that enable us to monitor the network in real time, respond to the ever-increasing demand for electricity and optimize the use of resources.and, above all, to guard against any major incident such as a European grid fracture or widespread blackout.
We'll be looking at strategies for optimizing power grid management while integrating more and more renewable energy, promoting the integration of electric vehicles into the power system, and more.electric vehicles within the power system, and supporting decentralized power generation.
The conference will be moderated by Patrick LUC, Expert at RTE.
After 20 years with RTE, including ten at the heart of the Lyon Dispatching Centre, Patrick LUC has joined the Centre National d'Expertise Réseaux, an RTE entity responsible for defining the technological orientations deployed on the network. Since 2021, this entity has been based in a unique location dedicated to the marriage of electrical and digital networks, the foundation of the energy transition: Campus Transfo, near Lyon.
Patrick LUC has over 23 years' experience in electricity transmission, and will be sharing his fabulous experience with us.
