[G9+ Conference] What future for mid-cap ESNs?

In a digital services market sustainably boosted by the digital transformation of the Economy, the French Digital Services industry (ESN) is characterized by a wide diversity of players: global (CapGemini, AtoS) or regional (Sopra Steria, GFI....), hundreds of small ESNs in the €10/100 million range, and a large, if not unique (if we consider our European counterparts) number of mid caps (€100/500 million), some of which are declared candidates for much bigger things.

Managing growth towards one billion euros in sales (and beyond...) calls for strategic choices in terms of delivery models, international development, product portfolios, financing, etc... Hence the question: is the race for size necessary, even inevitable? Or are there other, more value-oriented alternatives?
