X-Bordelais<br />Visit the Bergerac region
Erik Eignel (X57) is organizing a tour of the Bergerac region, to which we are inviting our friends from the X-Toulousains group as well as Télécom ParisTech graduates. We will first visit Bergerac under the guidance of a local history specialist.
At noon, we'll be welcomed by Mayor Dominique ROUSSEAU at Bergerac town hall for a vin d'honneur. We'll move on to Monbazillac, where we'll have lunch at the restaurant La Tour des Vent.
We'll then visit Château de Monbazillac, a listed historic monument dating from the 16th century, followed by Château de Montréal, a privately-owned, furnished and inhabited historic residence (12th and 16th centuries). We'llmeet at the Tampico bar on Place du Marché Couvert on Saturday September 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. sharp[for registration and organization details, see downloadable document].
