Sciences ParisTech for women<br />Meeting with Isabelle RONGIER and Geneviève CAMPAN, Members of the CNES Executive Committee

Space and satellites have become an essential part of our daily lives. Imagine a day without satellites: no more weather forecasts, disoriented airplanes, reduced television, disrupted communications, etc. We've become "space" dependent, without really measuring the consequences.

Isabelle Rognier (Inspectrice Générale and Director of the Quality Function) and Geneviève Campan (Director of the Information System) will talk to you about space, CNES, its missions and challenges, and explain how we move from "school" mathematical theory to complex applications in the service of Space and Earth.

Isabelle Rognier and Geneviève Campan are members of the CNES COMEX (Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales)

The only women currently on the CNES COMEX, they will also answer your questions on the status of women managers at CNES.

The conference will take place:
Monday, September 24, 2012 at 7pm (welcome from 6:30pm)

A 20-euro participation fee is requested for the cocktail party following the conference.
Registration on the Intermines website.

Student rate 5 euros. Contact directly Elzbieta Bkouche-Palen
