When difficulties become resources, thanks to the path of metaphors

At one point or another in our professional careers, we are all confronted with the glass ceiling. A number of studies on the subject explain the main reasons behind this obstacle, which is sometimes difficult to overcome.

Although these explanations are essential for a global understanding of the context, they are not sufficient. Indeed, in order to take action, it is essential for each of us to become aware of our own difficulties and analyze our own situation.

Metaphor is a tool that enables you to visualize your problem in a concrete way and take a step back to act.

During our conference, we invite you to discover a path that allows us to transform our difficulties into resources by taking the path of metaphors.

The themes covered will be :

  • What is a metaphor that can offer avenues for evolution?
  • How can they be used as resources or to deal with a difficulty?

This conference will be led by Natalie CONTE-MARTY, psycho-sociologist. The conference will last 1h30 and will include practical exercises. It will be followed by a convivial cocktail to encourage exchanges and develop your network.

4 working women, Gaelle Cattieuw (2000), Valérie Cedrone, Christine Mourgues Bastide and Patricia Wyckhuys, share the same conviction about the under-representation of women in our society, convinced that a more balanced gender mix makes a major socio-economic contribution, and aware that getting both women and men moving is essential.
Various actions are undertaken: raising awareness among the whole population, including the youngest, of the obstacles encountered by women in their development; providing keys to understanding and proposing tools to support women in their development; building and widening one's circle of influence through networks.
