Professional networks are today considered a growth market, and these networks are becoming strategic for businesses and public bodies in an increasingly digital environment where ever-faster responsiveness and ever-higher efficiency require voice and data communications available (almost) everywhere with (almost) limitless and highly secure capabilities.
The awarding of 4G-5G licenses by ARCEP in 2020 has boosted this market, enabling players of very different sizes and industrial sectors to position themselves to start deploying such networks, whose technical possibilities potentially associated with the advanced processing enabled by the acceleration of so-called AI technologies make it possible to envisage a new industrial revolution.
As was the case a few years ago, Telecom Paris Alumni's Networks and Services Group has set up two webinars on the subject, on June 10 and 18 respectively.
The first webinar (June 10) will give an overview of the market and the initiatives being taken, both in the private sector and in the Public Services sector, particularly civil security. Three speakers are scheduled:
-
Philippe Herbert, in charge of the 5G Industrial project at the French Ministry of Industry
-
Guillaume Lambert, Director of ACMOSS (Agence des Communications Mobiles Opérationnelles de Sécurité et de Secours), in charge of the RRF (Réseau Radio du Futur) project, which will cover all services involved in security, rescue, emergency medical aid, population protection and crisis and disaster management.
-
A representative of Ellipse Projects, which operates in a very different environment in Africa and Asia, providing high-tech, tailor-made solutions for healthcare, economic development and intelligent buildings.
This first session will be followed by a round table/Q&A session.
The second webinar (June 18 ) will focus more on technologies and offerings, and will feature a number of French market players.
-
Remy Thomas, Consultant
-
A representative of HubOne: a specialized operator deploying its 4G-5G networks
-
François Hédin, President of WeAccess: a new player in the professional networking market, focused on innovation
This second session will be followed by a round table/Q&A session.
