Crédoc and the alumni of Télécom ParisTech's Big Data courses, in partnership with theParis School of Economics, CEPREMAP,ENSAI and Sciences Po, invite you to take part in a hackathon on this theme:
Well-Being
Its ambition is original: to get multi-disciplinary teams of 5 people working together: students, researchers or alumni, combining data scientists and sociologists, data engineers and economists, statisticians and analysts.
To expand the scope of this hackathon, Crédoc will be providing access to valuable survey data: the Conditions de vie et Aspirations des Français survey, which has been carried out every year since 1979, and which, when cross-referenced with other open data, could provide a wealth of information on well-being in France in particular.
Well-being is the subject of numerous publications and claims. In particular, it is in the name of well-being that the HDI, BIB and other alternative indicators are attempting to compete with GDP, the most widely used indicator of a country's economic health.
Language of presentation
Pitching will be in French.
Winner's prize
A drone for each member of the winning team.
