Thematic evening organized jointly by the "Defense" and "Networks & Services" groups of Télécom ParisTech alumni The public LTE offer for individuals is currently growing rapidly, and we are witnessing the deployment of several national networks; this deployment is accompanied by a price war, and the growing availability of LTE/4G terminals, particularly Smartphones. This situation, and its constant evolution, is well known to telecoms players, but less is known about professional and defense developments using technologies of the same type; this is particularly the case in military or professional applications, such as airports. The aim of this thematic evening is to address this subject, by focusing on recognizing the common points as well as the specificities of LTE/4G technology applications in these different sectors: constraints, links with existing systems (PMR, etc.), security (voice and data, etc.), etc...)
