Aquitaine group - Bordeaux region<br />Visit Bacalan Bridge-Bastide

The X-Bordelais group invites you to a visit it is organizing in September: The Bacalan-Bastide Bridge, between Rue Lucien Faure and Quai de Brazza, will be the first urban crossing of the Garonne since the Saint-Jean Bridge (1966); it will feature a lift span to ensure the continuity of cruise ship navigation to the heart of Bordeaux. Construction began at the end of 2009 and will be completed by the end of 2012, with commissioning scheduled for March 2013. For those who weren't able to attend, and for those who would like to revisit a site that has made great progress, a new visit is being organized for the morning of Thursday, September 13, 2012. We'll meet on Thursday, September 13 at 9:15 am sharp, on the right bank, at the CUB reception site opposite 65 Quai de Brazza in Bordeaux.
