[G9+] Asian and European 5G use cases: Focus on Industry and Health Sector

G9+ event, co-organized by Mines digital, HEC Alumni, Huawei (sponsor). It will be hosted by :

  • Anne Claire Wang Public Relations Manager at Huawei

As the MC2I Explorer site mentions the development of 5G, which will inevitably involve the installation of new antennas specially designed for this use, will impact all sectors and will gradually impose itself to become a driver of major changes, particularly in terms of technologies.

Among the sectors that will be directly affected by 5G, it is worth mentioning:

  • Entertainment and general public;
  • The health sector, particularly with regard to medical diagnostics and remote operations in real time or telesurgery;
  • The media and audiovisual sector;
  • Industry, with remote machine control, logistics monitoring, etc.
  • The energy sector: at the level of production, storage and transport
  • The transport sector: in the era of autonomous vehicles, transport will require very short reaction times, because of the risk of accidents.

the G9+, will address 5G in all its technological, marketing and societal aspects in 2022. On February 17, we will approach the 5G market through the presentation of use cases in the geographical areas that started before us.

  • Georgios Avramidis, Huawei West EU expert - will talk about 5G deployments and 5G industrial applications as a whole
  • Patrice Cristofini, CEO of Cristhold (consulting company), Honorary President and founder of the CEPS eSante club, and former Head of Healthcare at Huawei France - will speak on 5G applications in healthcare
  • Sylvain Ordureau, CEO of the startup Vizua - will talk to us about the prospects offered by 5G for startups, for his own solution with multiple industrial applications, and present us with use cases of applications deployed in Monaco

The event will be in webinar format and will last one hour from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. with question and answer sessions
