Club Oenologie , it's back to school!
Welcome to the Club!Back on October 28 - 8pm
After the harvest - which our winegrower informants say was excellent - and the devatting and pressing operations, and while vinification continues, it's high time we caught up with our master Bernard Burtschy who, between a trip to Australia and a stay in China, has kindly agreed to continue our apprenticeship.
Learning to taste, smell and learn about wine also means exploring terroirs, understanding the influence of soil and climate and, of course, discovering winegrowers ... men who raise their wine as one raises a child, with love!
Come and join us, Bernard will teach you all this and, above all, how to smell aromas, explaining how our olfactory neurons analyze, process and memorize odors.According to Kant and Freud, these smells have the ability to awaken certain emotions that we thought had been extinguished ... see Proust's madeleine.
We look forward to seeing you at our next tastings, but please note that places are limited to the first 40 people to register.
(Please remember to enter by the rue Vergniaud entrance if you arrive after 7.30pm)
