It's back to school for the oenology club After the harvest, vatting and pressing, the primeur wines will soon be appearing! It's time for our oenology classes to resume... Our master oenologist Bernard Burtschy has just returned from Chile, the world's 5th largest wine producer, and he'll be leading the next session with his usual verve on 7/11/2012, amphi Rubis at 8:00 pm. If the theme is always a pleasant surprise, no doubt he'll be talking about the poor 2012 harvest, with 20% fewer grapes, the success of cognac in the Middle Kingdom, with 25 million bottles sold in 2011 (25% growth) and the purchase of châteaux in Bordeaux!!!
