Dear oenologist friends, Our 2014 wine-tasting season has got off to a great start with magnificent presentations and tastings of Alsace wines from Léon Beyer with -of course the oh-so-appreciated comments of Bernard Burtschy our professor of oenology: Pinot noir, Riesling, muscat, Pinot comtes d'Eguisheim. While the pruning of the vines continues. We're looking forward to spring and the first buds that will kick-start the 2014 vintage. In the meantime, join us on March 4 at 8pm in the Amphi Jade at the alumni wine club, where Bernard has promised to outdo himself.
